Meet Rob Shaheen, Owner, Bristolian Pizzeria

I’ve always wanted to be the owner of a restaurant and being in Bristol is a dream come true.  In this first year of business in this beautiful, quaint and historic town, it’s been great to meet the RWU students, tourists, and locals.

I enjoy challenges, meeting people and creating great food for my customers.

My experience in the world of food began on Cape Cod as a teenager working with my uncle at a restaurant in Hyannis and the “bug” got me and has never left. Over the years I have worked for several restaurant chains, like the “Ninety-nine,” Uno’s” and “Road Kill Cafe” and opened a new restaurant in New Hampshire.

Giving back to the community is a goal and we do this through charities like, Colt Andrews School and fund raising opportunities around town and at the university.

In the next few months we are planning events that will stand us apart and help us to know people in Bristol on a more personal level.
